Smokey eyes are back again!! Always sexy and sophisticated they are the ultimate evening accessory!!

Greys blended with black, very rock chic!!  Start by applying grey all over the lid up to the socket, then add black into the socket and the outer corner of your eye.  It's at this stage you don't panic, when you see the shadows unblended it can be quiet scary!! Now using a blending brush and a cream coloured powder start gently blending the  black into the cream. Then using my favourite product of the moment ; "Black Mauve Shimmer Ink long-Wear Gel Eyeliner" by Bobbi Brown, apply it above and below the lashes with a fine eyeliner brush and smudge it with a cotton bud for a softer look It's fab it gives the eye a slighlty glossy finish, much more flattering than purely matt colours. To give the eyes depth run a dark brown or black eyeliner inside them rim of your eye, the contrast makes the white of the eye sparkle!!

Remember with all that definition on the eyes, keep the cheeks and lips neutral.  Try lining and filing in your lips with a brown lip pencil , then apply a pale pink gloss on top.  Keep the cheeks nude using Strada blusher from Mac, but just a little under the cheekbones. 

A very light dusting of Noisette matt powder by Rimmel will ensure your not too pale and uninteresting!!No bronzing powder this season!!
